The O.A.T. Foundation is a blessing to our community. I had the pleasure of partnering with The O.A.T. Foundation from 2018 to 2023. In that time we hosted an HBCU College Tour, a Math Camp to prepare for the SOLs, a Summer Reading Enrichment Program, a Comedy Show and other fundraisers for the Dr. Virginia F. Barnett Memorial Scholarship, and two iterations of our S.O.S. Peer Support Group for Female Survivors of Sexual Trauma. I even had an opportunity to support their Re-Entry work on the Peninsula. The O.A.T. Foundation is SUCH a blessing to our community, and I encourage everyone to donated and volunteer to ensure their great work continues.
I simply love the oat foundation and the work that pastor Rhonda Vaughn has put into the oat foundation. They have helped me and my children a lot. I’m just grateful of all the work pastor Rhonda and the oat foundation has done for us.
The O.A.T. Foundation has made an incredible impact on the community, offering vital support and resources to marginalized individuals and families. Their dedication to addressing the challenges of those affected by incarceration, substance abuse, homelessness, and instability is both inspiring and effective. Through innovative programs they provide mentorship, peer support, and access to various workshops, helping young people and families find a path to stability and success.
The foundation’s collaborative approach, partnering with local organizations and professionals, ensures a holistic and impactful response to community needs. Their work is not only transforming lives but also strengthening the entire community.
The OAT foundation’s adulting 101 program has been a great resource in the community by providing me with opportunities to learn and grow in the area of adulting. I’ve gone to credit building sessions, sessions on the importance of mental health and self care, and a variety of other sessions that give me the necessary tools to be the best adult I can be. They even offer financial assistance to those who may need help paying utility bills which is great for young adults my age who may be finding it difficult to make ends meet in this economy. I highly recommend the OAT foundation to those 18-25!
The O. A. T. Foundation partnership with Kappa Lambda Chi my fraternity to distribute turkeys in the local community around the holidays their assistance and dedication to serve were remarkable and appreciated.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Rhonda Vaughn in 2009 through a family member when a friend wanted to sell his home. I had just come home, and as I spoke with Ms. Vaughn, she shared more about the incredible work she did beyond real estate. From that conversation, she quickly became a key resource for me, helping me with everything I needed to achieve my dream of homeownership.
With her guidance and support, I was able to buy my first home. But beyond being my realtor, Ms. Vaughn has been a mentor and an amazing influence in my life. She has truly gone above and beyond for me and my family. I am forever grateful to Ms. Vaughn and the OAT Foundation for the blessing they have been in our lives.
Thank you for your unwavering support, guidance, and mentorship. You’ve truly made a lasting impact, and we are so thankful for everything you’ve done!
